Default Shipping complete S4 rear suspension from WA to SC, how?

Hello All,

There is a guy selling the complete rear suspension from an S4 on Facebook Porsche 928 Parts Buy and Sell.
I am interested because the front arm mounts are corroded and seized on the Red Witch.

However, he is in Washington state and I am in South Carolina.
Really stupid question that shows my naivety: how do I ship that rear suspension from him to me?
I have ZERO experience shipping anything of that size.

Thanks for any and all advice!

Find a fastenal store he drops it off they put it on a pallet you pick it up at your local fastenal
That said do you really just need new lower control arms?
pretty simple to remove them from the cross member and send as a set on FedEX

I am awaiting a quote from Fastenal 3PL. Probably Monday before I get it.
I don't think the guy will separate the rear suspension.
All I really need are the aluminum mounts and eccentric bolts for the front of the lower arms. However, the photos of the rear suspension he is selling shows it to be in better condition to my own. It would be nice to have.

However, I have to decide if it is worth $900+ to me.

Looks like it would be worth dropping out your whole rear suspension and swapping in this one, the original Gray boge shocks could be replaced after a roadtest

Thanks, Stan.
I am still mulling over the shipping. This is quite new to me. Might just have to bite the bullet and deal with it.

I can attest to very good results (multiple) with uship, and if time is not an important aspect, and you are willing to
wait a bit, lower bids can be had. I once bought a lot of parts from TN to FL, and got a really cheap bid
from a women coming from TN with an empty horse trailer to pick up a horse in FL. she was very happy
to just have her fuel paid for. good luck.

Oho! Did not realize that.
Thanks for the heads-up!
I will prepare a better quote and see what kind of hits I can get.
