85 928 BALL JOINT & TIE ROD END EXPENSIVE!!!
I have a 1985 928S US spec.
I realized I need a new front ball joint and inner tie rod.
These are reasanably prices for 86.5-95, but expensive for 78-85.
Can you use the 86.5-95 on an 85???
Any advise?

Quick answer is no on both counts.
I sell the ball joint for $135, eccentrics (you need two) for $33.99 each.
Complete tie rods are $48 each.
That is not expensive in 928 land by any means.
