And she lives. Started up instantly and ran smooth as silk. We did about 15 min of run in on the lift, got her up to full operating temp. Only remaining issue is the cooling fans are not coming on, so I need to run through all the bits. Sunday we should be bedding in the rings after another 15 min of no load run in.

Thanks again for everyone's help.

Nice! I'm sure it will feel amazing to finally get that car back on the road and terrorizing the streets as it was meant to.

And it was. Took her out to bed in the piston rings yesterday. She's running like a top and lo leaks!. I drained the non detergent break in oil, next change in a few hundred K's.

Awesome news Adam. I bet you slept like a baby when it finally ran with no issues.

Yes I will enjoy it for the rest of the break in, then it's back to it's owner. Then I need to get working on mine to be ready for SITM.

Oups!

I missed that it wasn't your car.
Anyway, enjoy it while you can.

Had a phone call from someone I've been trying to help with a no start condition. He had someone send him an EZK to try and boom, this same thing happened. Crossed the connectors also. Good idea when replacing the Temp II connector to get a blue one to put on, giving Roger my source for them so he can keep them in stock and sell instead of the generic black ones.

Ya that’s a great idea. Personally next time I will just get the harness done by you. I spent way to much time on that harness.
