I googled up Arthur DeFever and there is a whole industry behind the name. There is also a group of DeFever owners and afficianados that have a yearly get together with over 50 yachts in attendance.(https://www.defevercruisers.com/)
Arthur DeFever built over 3800 yachts in his career (mostly in the 40-70 foot range) and was 94 when he died in 2013.

I ordered a new cable from Roger this morning. Gotta see my accountant tomorrow, frigging taxes! Gotta send Uncle Sugar, a fat check, I'm sure. Going shooting first thing in the morning. Gotta keep in practice for the revolution!!!!!! LOL

I'll be in and out the next couple of weeks with the boat. It's been hauled out, and we have to meet with the people redoing the interior, and electronics.
