lol...that was my first thought. Grams is much more palatable.

Oxide red is interesting. Now knowing that, I can kind of see a very slight red/pinkish hue in the paint.

This makes the basecoat, which is a bit darker cream color (center) than Grand Prix White (left)

Good luck with your project and it pleases me as much as it always does to see one on the rescue block! Excellent product selection as I see that someone is working with tinting color from a Glasurit 55-line mix bank. Which clear coat will be being used? If I may, I recommend 923-109 or 923-255.

There's three total layers.. this is the "middle" layer, which has a substantial amount of clear mixed with white pearl. then for the final layer you pile on the pure clear. This "clear over pearly clear over base" is what gives the "effects" of the finish

Some things you just don't notice right away. Sorting through the glass today and storing it against a white wall, and it looks like a passenger window replacement at some point with a bronze unit... in a green glass car.

Shocking!

Some broke into a Porsche in Florida in the 80's?

Who woulda thunk...

Nothing like seeing the Pearl executed on the first parts! Fluorescent light doesn't do it justice.

Lots of work and money, and this car just keeps looking worse. That's the Glasurit 801-72 primer on the rear hatch, which is interesting to work with.
