Alternate activity for 3rd Coast Saturday
For approximately 17 years we have been doing a drive on the Saturday of 3rd Coast. This pole to see if people are interested in other venues.

Drive only until lunch. (I love that drive to Llano and Cooper's Barbeque) After that: Set up a list of alternative things to do for everybody/anybody such as tech sessions/car fixing, winery tours & drinking, travel into Austin/San Antonio/Fredericksburg, brewery tours and drinking, shopping, swimming in the pool at the hotel, detailing tips seminar, spelunking at Longhorn Caverns, and pie-eating at Bluebonnet café.
For those that are missing pumpkin shooting, we could probably find a range that would let us bring our own range of protection and kill some pumpkins or targets or whatever.

I'd be happy to take a poll... but I won't take a pole for anyone.

We had a blast doing a tech session or two at Frenzy but a couple of issues would keep us from doing that at 3rd Coast.
1. Location for doing one.
2. Finding anyone who would know what they are talking about.
I vote for doing like we did the year it rained. Piling on peoples cars who don't drink and hitting vodka, wine and shopping places. Trying to see who gets kicked out of the places first. My vote is on Chuck/Stretch.

I was not talking about doing motor mounts and pan gasket complete with a stud kit or installing Chuck's shocks and setting his ride height!
Maybe KillaV would be up for demonstrating the reinstallation of the window seals again(like at Wichita OCIC) which took maybe 30 minutes...or I could demonstrate the proper holy attire for working on Porsche 928s (well okay, maybe not)....but I could demonstrate the removal and reinstallation of the Hans fan cowling (no, no that wouldn't work either, because everybody would then want one) and it would only take like 3 minutes to do....We could just buy a bunch of red LEDs and replace everybody's incandescent safety light bulbs in the door edges with red LED's......or headlight aiming.....or even fog light aiming!!!
A tech session for piddly crap that people sometimes need done that you never get around to actually doing.
The thing about the vodka, wine and shopping and seeing who gets thrown out first is we already know the winner: Mr TWO-TIMER himself, of course.
But if there was a whole list of things to choose from for that afternoon, the folks that want to do the other things would have the opportunity to do them. If they were set up in advance, it might be an even better time (Like a castle tour?) Apparently the castle owner liked to drink wine, I heard, so you set it up ahead and bring wine when you come.
If you wanted to shoot and kill poor little pumpkins, contact the local gun range and ask if (for a fee) we can bring our anti-aircraft guns to the range and kill pumpkins.
Just scattershooting here guys.

Collin replaced that alternator the year he came down with the left side wheels up on the curb by the back door. Can't get a better location than that!

How about every time Roger makes a comment on the superiority of automatics, you all have to take a shot of Sean's best bourbon.
