So for now and for ever after, the "move" will be known as "the Chuck". It is decreed and now it is written. Amen.

Room is booked, and no I didn't get the last room. I've been talking to Roger about mixing it up a little this year. I'm going to post a survey of possible other venues do to instead of the drive on Saturday. Would like input from everyone who is planning to attend, or suggestions from others whoever you are.

Short Yellow Bus and a wine tour.

Well said Soontobered84, aka Drift King, aka Big Blown Out Shorts John. So when Chuck dances, is that known as the Chuck Skid?

I don't think we really want to talk about "the Skid" in this forum, now do we?

On an altogether different note, If you haven't posted on the thread about alternative things to do on Saturday afternoon during Third Coast, please give us your opinions and suggestions..

John,

You are probably right. This guy showed up at my feeder Dec 10 last year. Opening weekend is not really that big of a deal, but still it's fun to get out in the woods on the first weekend if possible. Since I missed last year, mostly due to August flooding in Houston, I'm going to try to get to Marble Falls regardless of what weekend it falls on.

Don,
LOL, you hand fed him so damn much grain, he got thirsty and fell asleep in the bucket of your tractor! Doesn't hardly seem fair to me to have to wake him up to use your tractor.

I think it'd be bit more fair if you went to hunt with just a knife.(not a Crocodile Dundee knife. More like a folding boy scout knife) Or a mag-light or something like that. But that's another story for another time.

Default things to do?

I have always loved going to the Olive Oil Company (it's where i restock every year)
What about lunch at the Airport Hangar place?

I don't ever drive on the tours, but in year's past I have meet the tours at the lunch spot.

Last year i enjoyed getting my nails done, shopping and a fancy lunch in Marble Falls in the morning, and after lunch I had time to join a 928 Group at a couple of wineries.
If there is anyone else's significant other that would like to ride with me, they are more than welcome.

Glad you bumped! I had somehow failed to make a reservation when this thread started. I just called now and was able to choose either the lakeside or city side for a room with the group rate!

Several of us are heading to “the record company” concert in Austin the night before 3rd Coast (Nov 1)
staying downtown and Ubering to Scoot Inn.

Made reservation this morning. I swear it takes 20 minutes just to get to a live body and get through all the "upsell" crap they are trying to push. Just make my damn reservation please!
