Interesting indeed. That Club Sport engine does not look right to me - it looks like a twin dizzy earlier "S" version Euro. I thought from 87 onward, all markets got the same engine configuration, including intake? Paging Roger.

Nice trio.
Just puzzled by the declared (and usual) high oil consumption of the silver GTS suggests that “a segmentation will be required”. The original French is “segmentation”, so probably technical term which has been mistranslated. Anyone know the correct translation? My schoolboy French doesn’t help!

Segment: Piston ring
This car has a problem with piston rings, so it "eats" oil.
The CS has lost its original engine and gearbox a very long time ago and it is a HUGE project. But this is the only racing CS and it was made by Porsche.
It has the 928 GT Cup, with 993 Turbo brakes and a lot of special parts. The problem is that some previous owner(s) did not realised what it is.
I have seen it for the first time in 1999, and my 1989 CS was parked just next to it. The owner didn't tell me that his car was another 1989 CS
In fact, this car is the first 1989 CS and my former one was the second.
I have checked with Porsche and this is the original car with its original tired body.
The current engine into the CS is a Euro S, in average condition, but the car will be sold with a nice 1990 GT engine. The matching GT gearbox is already into the car.
And the car will be delivered with the very short gearbox that it has when my friend has bought it.
A Morabito is interesting for its interior. The leather is from buffalo and very different from the leather used by Porsche. It is completely original, except certainly the radio and the missing vanity case.
