Kibort ; fast is a relative term.....depends on who your relatives are. Pribably is good that you have NOT driven any really fast cars. When you can spin the wheels at any speed in any gears at anytime you have enough horsepower...... 🤣😂😃😎

James.. I've driven Joe Fans car. at 500hp, it couldn't spin the wheels in any gear but 1st. so, i guess it needs more hp. . I've raced a lot of 600hp plus cars. You can see the cat and mouse battles ive had
ive also driven some GT3s. they are fast.....real fast.

so, is mark anderson's old car fast? at willow springs, it ran a 1:24.... that's not even as fast as the record holder POC GT3 class(in a cayman race car) who has run 1:23, but runs 1:35s at laguna.(I am in his Hp/weight POC class and I run 1:36s at laguna) Is joes new car fast (the RSR) ?
what is fast?

so, yes i know what fast is, and its all relative I guess, or classifiable.

Good question.

We've been told that "Vintage Racing" is nothing more than parade laps in other threads, and here is a 993 which is a regular in the vintage racing scene walking away from Mark like he dropped anchor (lap 2). This was also before they fully developed that car, it's faster now and still vintage racing....

Thats crazy fast!.. but mark's got faster still with the new motor, and when he showed up at the PCA/POC race and beat the 911designed carbon fiber body, etc, (much faster on a technical track than that turbo) mark won and ran a respectable 1:30.9 at laguna. later , i think he went to RA and was getting into the 2:18s. did that vintage car get in the sub 2:20s? either way, that car, marks car, are are near vintage now, and can still run with the best of them.. not win anymore, but run and be respectable. the best cup cars now (GT3 cup) are running 2:10s at RA and 1:26s at Laguna.. crazy fast!

That 993 is lapping Road America in 2:13 now, and he's not the fastest car in his Parade Lapping....er..I mean vintage class.

Here he is against a 997 RSR:

"ONE MILLION" Horsepower ?????

That is beyond words!!! unreal! passing two RSRs on one straight, like they are standing still.

however it would be more amazing to see the sub 2:10 porsches against this car, where obviosly their braking and handling would be more amazing than the acceleration of this Monster! seriously, this has got to be over 1000hp. we have our west coast club car turbo with near 800+ hp and he doesnt even go around me, like goes around these RSRs at RA.

I just signed up and paid the fees. I guess im going to race the ' ole 928 again at Cal speedway! (Auto Club Speedway)

This will be the second time there. The car survived last time running in the 1:47s , and hope to run a little faster and also survive! such a brutal track!! gs, compression, bumps, high sustained RPM, etc.

anyone else going???
