Sorry I missed another year. Taking care of my aging mother, and dealing with Town issues has caused me to miss a few years. I am planning on being there next year to at least catch up with Dave and Jeannie. (Miss Thor as well) I have put the dates on my vacation calendar as well as maintenance to do on one of the 3 928's. Not sure of which one to bring next year.
Thanks for creating such a great place for us 928 lovers to meet and get to know each other.

We are sorry you missed it also, it has been too long since we have seen you! Sorry about your Mother, those can be tuff and trying times. I went thru that 8-6 years ago, it was also going on during and right after 2 years prior and always at SITM. Lost my Mom then just a week after the 2013 SITM ...then last year same deal with my Dad and lost him 10 days after 2017 SITM, I actually missed my own Main Event on Saturday last year dealing with end of life issues. .But as always, Family comes FIRST!! Make the best of those times you have left, which goes for all of us!!
You are very welcome, creating SITM and the resulting creation of all the personal connections with every one of you is one thing, but watching all of you interact in person with each other and the resulting friendships created, plus watching everyone grow and thrive in life... is well,...PRICELESS!! :-)
Ah yes, Thor, my little boy, god yes I still miss him everyday!
All the best and look forward to seeing you next year in any of the 3 928s,,OR as you know darn well... No 928 is OK too!
Dave

Hey there,
Like the Monty Python and the Holy Grail.... "I'm not dead yet!"
I missed this year because the Shark was still out due to starting issues from last SITM! - Just wanted to let AirtekHVAC and Dave know it finally turned out to be an ECU issue. Had a local German car place with a good rep check it out, and now it is back to running reliably like it did before. They actually thought it had something from Volvo in the ECU... weird. Cannot confirm that of course. So, I will sell it still, but for now I am driving it and deciding how much more I want to do on it, and if the opportunity comes up I will let it go. Turns out the Driveway on our new home is long enough to allow me to switch the 928 and Mustang as needed.
So for now I expect to make the Frenzy this fall for the first time in a while and most likely the SITM next year!
Thanks to you guys for helping me get it going that Sunday morning. I hope this year was fun too,
regards,
Mike

Finally got my car on the lift to inspect from my deer carcass hit. Nice thick chunk of deer flesh up in the rear pan, and several cracks in the front pan louvers.
