You just saved yourself from an INTENSE phone call from me this week, using every trick in the book, including quilt, pity, you name it!!
BTW, it looks like there are going to be LOTS of the old gang coming this year. Not gonna toss out names just yet, but you will be PLEASED at who all is either planning hard to come or already committed.

Interesting. I haven't taken the 928S on a wide patrol yet, and TN is within reach. I'll see about taking some time off in June and linking up with the guys coming down from Canada around Winchester.

It's a similar run to my normal drive down to Johnson City/Athens, I'll probably come down Thu afternoon, crash in Roanoake, then drive a different way through Ridgeway VA to get to you. But should be do-able, will work on the schedule.

Registered and booked this morning. Looking forward to it. Born and raised in Asheville and am looking forward to getting the car on the many roads that my VW Passat slayed. Cant wait to see how the 9289 handles them.

We'l things have taken an ugly turn for me. Got a staph infection in my right leg and before I knew it, it got to my new knee. Spent a week in the hospital trying to get the infection under control. Then to the house doing daily infusions of antibiotics. Then back in the hospital to remove the knee and install a temporary spacer. I'm home and doing 3 daily infusions of antibiotics for 4 more weeks. I'm trying to schedule surgery to install a 2nd new knee for AFTER SITM 2018. I plan to be there sans knee, hobbling around on a walker like a cripple, but by God I'm still coming!!!
