Default 928S4 - Trying To View The Valves With A Borescope

I’m Trying To View The Valves With A Borescope but I can only see two of them by looking down through the fuel injector connection port; why can’t I see the other two?

My borescope flexes but I can’t actually articulate it very much once it’s inserted in the port or through the port.

You need to look through the spark plug hole, not the fuel injector hole. You're only seeing the back side of the intake valves.

But in my case I’m actually needing to see the back, that chamber.

I’m just wondering why I only see two of them, where are the other two?

Yes. Sorry I’ve just owned the car since 1996 but never did anything to it other than cosmetics and drove it 70-80K miles, I had the dealer fix it and drove through Speedy Oil Change, so I expected to be able to see the top of all 4 valves in each cylinder.

So I take it that’s funny in some way?

Take your exhaust manifolds off if you want to see those.

I’m only interested in this one chamber that has the fuel injectors on top. Is it a single chamber that just houses the two valves that I see?

Yep. Exhaust and intake are separated for explosive reasons.

Are you looking for anything in particular, and why...out of curiosity?

I’m gonna leave this here for anybody that wants it: Wikipedia - Internal Combustion Engine

And for those that think you already know everything about ICEs, go to that page and see if it’s true. Just for fun.

His name is Charles Marguis.
Back in 2008 he was in need of help getting his car started. I drove to Plano where he lives. I had suspected it was the LH so I took a JDS rebuild with me. My memory is fuzzy but suffice to say being a trusting guy I left the LH with him. So I was out $695 (LH + core) and he said send him a bill and he would pay for it.
After that he disappeared from the face of the Earth.
Would not return phone calls are emails.

This has happened twice in 13 years so my trust has only been betrayed twice out of thousands and thousands of transactions.

This guy is garbage. I may never get my money back but if I can ensure no body else deals with him life will be good.
Don't see the name Charles. Did he remove his name or change his profile name since your post?
