Photo of intact window regulator stop needed
I'm developing a method to recondition these regulator travel stops, but I need a photograph of an intact stop.to go by. Anyone? Mr Edwards? I will have the materials in hand tomorrow, and should be able to post details in a few days, including an explanation of how these stops have caused me some grief. Buying used ones won't suit, as the bumper material will probably be brittle, even if intact.

Is this useful? FYI, I have this spare regulator sitting in a box someplace. It's from a salvaged 91 with 20kmiles. Let me know if you need it.

Dang that was fast, Mike! Here are pics of the little bugger I'm working on- should have put them in the original post. Your last pic shows one, but I would like to see what the original buffer shape was. BTW, been following your impressive dash work thread!

I'll dig it out of the box tonight and get you some close ups and measurements if you like. At 20k-miles of use on it, I bet it's pretty close to new.

Cut a piece of rubber from a tire sidewall it works great,
this is a cut to fit operation.
You want the rubber to sit proud of the metal clamp by about 4 to 6 mm the clamp has a boss in it that will hold the rubber in place
I have repaired many of the brittle stops it’s easy to do

The item in these photos is from a car with 21,000 miles on it. So it's presumably like new.

Hi Stan, I tried that but just didn't like the way it turned out- I'm sure you did a better job! Mike, those photos are great, and make me wonder if that wouldn't be a printable part? My approach will be to use a casting resin, we'll see how it works.
