Pod and dash miss-alignment
On re-assembly of my newly recovered dash and pod, I discovered my pod sits about 1/4 - 1/2" off center from where it was previously. I am stumped as to how to move it left. The dash mounting mounts all aligned perfectly and there is no left / right adjustment since the left/right mounting tabs sit flush on the A pillars. So it seems the dash is in the right place. Plus the fitting agains the trim and windshield all look perfect.
The pod mounts to the steering column assembly. I tried moving to the left using the mounting tracks on the bottom but its not enough. It seems as though the mounting block is fixed.
Has anyone run into this issue when reinstalling a dash? I'd appreciate some BTDT before I go and remove everything again. Here are some before and after pics.

As that bolt is not accessible when the assembly is mounted, its a good idea to mark it before removing it.
Now in your case, look at how much you need to move/pivot the Pod outward, then after removal mark where it now is and then adjust it out some and reinstall to test fit.
That should get you there, don't forget to try moving the Pod up and down too.
The other side (left side) is slotted so you do not have to completely remove that bolt and the rubber grommets.
I think he/Rob is just pointing out what needs to be adjusted

NOTE with the defrost and hazard switches removed,
its easy to see where that foot is going to seat and how it needs to be positioned,
all you need is a good flashlight to shine into one of the switch holes.
once your close snug the bolt so it holds the foot into position
