Default Singer inspired 5-spd shifter and surrond

Saw this and got me thinking that could work on the 928 so long as the shaft slips over the existing flat bar. What do we think? Like?

That thing only looks good because the rest of the interior is so beautiful. It would look terrible

I think it looks classic and beautiful and perfect on an old air-cooled 911. However IMO it would look too old school in a 928. Maybe somebody can photoshop it on the center console to get a better idea.

Yeah, I think you are right. The interior of the 928 is all about modern and covering and molded stuff.

I think it’s a good look in a 928. Check out Function-First. It feels great in your hand too!

Stuff like this is always a matter of personal taste.

My opinion is "no".

The way the interior of the 928 flows, the integrated **** & boot, along with the 'draped' boot look better to me.

The round **** and accordion boot would look great on the flat floor of an early(ish) 911.
Or a Beetle.

But not a 928, Or a 944 for that matter.

As always, my $0.02, worth that much on a good day.
YMMV.

Actually looks good here, but the leatherwork that looks like a bag of wet clothes is distracting.

Before you made the jewelry you made, I got a test version from a guy that dropped off the face of the earth. This is that one. I have't taken yours out of the box yet. This one is a bit janky but does work.
