87 S4 options tag.
My brother's old car, now mine, is L35U Veneziablau and was linen leather QD I believe. I recall blue piping when the seats were original, but I am not sure if I have any pics from back then. Was there piping on the back seats?
Eventually I plan to have the car sorted out a bit more and to sell it. It's not in great shape or even good at this point.

I'll upload a pic of the option tag,
-Joel.

Mainly the insanity part of it. It's an impossible task.
Which means some on here will take it as a personal challenge.
The 928 is a weirdo magnet... and a magnet is exactly what one needs to find a needle in a haystack. Notice I did not say impossible.

It's got a MPH cluster. My records via Carfax go back to 1992, 45K miles, Atlanta GA. My brother bought it in 2000 from the Atlanta area.

Brings back memories even though not the same car. Will keep looking for the actual car, but when you are ready sell, PM me! PLEASE!

WOW - That's a nice one. Really nice car, almost identical. Now I am torn between finding a clone or the actual car. If the real mccoy doesn't shake out soon I'll def pick up one of these.

As an aside, does that one at mohr imports look like it's sporting some extra ride height in the front, or is the rear sagging? What do you guys think?

If you've got the cash, pull the trigger on the close match but keep pursuing your white whale.

Can you contact Porsche and ask for the VIN of your Dad's car? If they are willing to release the VIN, should be easy for them to find it. The car is probably a one of one that was ever delivered to Alberta or Canada for that matter.

My guess is that these pictures were taken after they took the pictures of it on the lift and the front end hasn't settled yet. Rear looks ok to me. Front will settle down after about 100 miles of driving. Really nice car here.

^ Good eye, GT. Never thought of that, makes sense.

Yeah nice car for sure. Visualize that same car, only with about 12,000 miles, less than 2 years old back in the day. It was amazing to say the least and got attention wherever it went.
