Default Odd Feeler thread on 79

I have this 79 that I have been working on with the intent to not modify but to track it. I wanted it to be a daily driver possibility as well, so I have kept it smog legal and has all original glass exept I replaced the windshield. I am thinking about whether I want this to be the car or not for this use. The positives for me for keeping are I can basically go to track this weekend. Other positive is I am sure I like the OB (Old Buggar) instead of the S4 body.

What is this car worth?

1979 5spd.
  • 79,000 on the odometer, which is actually turning properly
  • All interior taken out but I have
    • Good rear quarters
    • Center console rear
    • Center console front
    • Door cards
    • One driver's seat
I have extensive time in it on the body, smoothing and filling bumps and bruises, and filled in the bumper sprayers.
  • Steps:
    • Epoxy primer on all panels and door jams (doors, hatch, hood and fenders sandblasted to metal and sprayed)
    • Poly filler sanded
    • More Epoxy
    • Urethane Surfacer
    • Reduced Epoxy you see in pics is a nice satin sheen
Running gear is very good
  • Engine starts easily
  • WUR and Fuel distro rebuilt
  • Clutch is good and tight
  • Smog items in place
  • S brakes on front
  • Bilsteins all around
  • SS brake lines
  • LSD differential
  • 18" replicas on car have good tires
  • New Brake booster and Master
  • New Clutch Master and blue line
Comments:
  • Only interior pieces listed above
  • It was originally yellow and could be again
  • Carbon Fiber hood wold not go with car. I have the oem hood.

So no dash, no pod, no seatbelts, no carpets, no headliner, only one seat, right?

What about front lights? Headlights (and pods, motor, bar, ect), fog & marker lights & frames? Are those included?

No sunroof?

This one is going to Mark. I need to get to the track, but I am not sure I can use this car to do it. It was a good try though.
