Hershey Swap Meet April 21
 

Hosted by Zone 2’s Central Pennsylvania Region (www.cpa-pca.org), this is without exaggeration the largest event of its kind on the planet. It typically brings nearly 650 vendors, around 1,000 Porsches, and over 6,000 visitors from all over the world together in Hershey every year. If you’re seeking an obscure Porsche or an obscure part for your Porsche, this is your best chance to find it. Every dealer and Porsche packrat in a 250-mile radius will be bringing their odds and ends for sale or swap. You’ll see exotic Porsches found nowhere this side of Stuttgart, and Porsche personalities ranging from PCA muckety-mucks to (sometimes) celebrities like Jerry Seinfeld. As always, they’ll feature a People’s Choice Concours, and Sunday autocross, too!

White Rose Motel is 928 center on 20-21 April.

UPDATE ON THE White Rose Motel

I inquired about reservations for April 20th and 21th. Here's the reply from the current owner.

"Thanks for the inqury. We are selling the motel, and settlement is suppose to be the end of January. So, we are not taking any reservations, not knowing what they are doing. Check back in the beginning of February. Thanks again for your years of staying with us. The time has come as we cannot get help to keep operating. Shirley"

I'll check back in Feb. and give an update. :(

Comfort Inn at the Park - has a nice long straight access road for 0-60-0 runs. If we get ten rooms we can get a group rate.

Looks like plenty of out of the way parking too. Maybe this year we can have a bonfire?

I live about 40 minutes away from Hershey so i'm going to try and keep my calader free, but it's the wifes birthday weekend.

Can't we wait until at least the beginning of Feb to see what's up with the White Rose? Comfort Inn at the Park is not a Motel. One of the reasons we all like the White Rose is the convenience of stepping out of our rooms for afternoon or late nite gatherings and 928 access.
