I found out why my shark sometimes won't start: I put it in the air and changed out the starter. Then I saw the main power cable had frayed insulation at the starter end!!! I cleaned the cable and wrapped it with a LOT of self-fusing tape. Then re-positioned the cable....Looks like I may need a new one....

No, Lili is still on rollers, but coming together nicely. Interior is about finished, and once I have some clutch hoses I ordered, the engine is going in! Hope to have her on the road by the fall.

BTW, I'm bringing two rear interior grab handles, a red locking gas cap, and some other bits I found that will not be a part of the rebuild.

For the Western PA and points West crowd (OH, MI, etc), there is a group of about 5 of us meeting at the Sheetz gas station on Rt 8 North of Pittsburgh at 11 am Friday morning April 20. This is the Sheetz just next to the PA Turnpike entrance ramp. We will be caravanning up. Looking forward to it!
