Get a decent 6 inch digital caliper that's good to 0.01 mm, measure the 'base circle' of each cam lobe at each side of the lobe, then rotate the cam 90 degrees and measure the greatest dimension that you can find at each end of the lobe. Subtract the 1st measurement from the 2nd, that's your lift. Do each side of the lobe as a consistency control. This won't be as accurate as chucking it up in a lathe and measuring with a dial gauge but you ought to be able to get with 0.01 to 0.02 mm that way. The worst cam lobes I've seen were missing 0.3 mm of height....

These are the specs I found for my cams.
When I measure and subtract to find the lift I seam to be right on these numbers.
