I don't seem to actually understand the full scope of what they are proposing.

Can you also order new dials for the digi-dash ('89 and later) too? Seems clear that 78 - 79 will work.

I might give them a try as I want to convert one of my cars to a Km/h car.

Yeh, I think from what I read in English (translation may be bad) is that you can order them with different colour faces and letters / numerals etc. So blue dial with yellow digits etc.
