A long needed update on this project; I've read it on Ken's main thread about his S300 chips for S4s, and a poster who said his car jumped from 260 RWHP to 293 RWHP with just the EZK chip and X-pipe. After riding around with both on my car, the difference is real, as well as the gain.

Car feels like it has the torque I want as it rows through the auto transmission in the city limits. Pulls like a freight train in 3rd on the freeway from 80 to beyond. And that idle quality? FANTASTIC! Although, the chip did not get rid of that pause when you stomp on the gas pedal from a full stop. I wasn't really anticipating that it would anyways. May be I have some other issue causing that 1/4 second hesitation.

Just need to drop in the LH chip and my 24 LB injectors... sadly still no time for anything other than looking at it in the garage on the weekdays and driving it on the weekends.

I have 300cpi cats with after the x-pipe built by a muffler shop.

I though Ken didn't do S300 chips for S4's anymore. I just checked his website http://liftbars.com and the S300 chips are only listed for S3 cars (85-86). I seem to remember a thread where Ken (PorKen) said chip tuning did not do much for the S4. See this thread, post 10 (https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...en-s-page.html).

@Mongo, where did you get your S300 set? Is Ken making them again?
