That doesn't look so bad. Manual, no sunroof, no rub strips. Someone should save it. But not me.

Edit:
Ooops it has a sunroof, just doesn't show in some pics.

Been following these are the salvage auctions and bought a few of them. I posted this one in the other thread because it's too far for me.

my educated guess is that the car does 2000 plus. Lots of them are going overseas.

Buyer beware. These cars can GAIN lots of bumps and bruises while at the holding yard. Keys also like to disappear as well but usually only on the cars that run. Lots of fees on top of purchase piece as well.

I like how they marked the airbags as good.

Yeah, I saw that too.

Hey, they didn't go off, so they must be good, right?

I had a look at that one too. Someone with a lot of time, and a little money would be the right candidate for this. Lots of painstaking detail work down around the wiring loom, firewall goodies, etc. Having a 82 parts car avail would be a bonus. Aft of the firewall, car is pretty decent. I might pay $2000 out the door. Sadly, salvage places usually tack on a lot of charges over the bid. Storage fees, recovery fees, doc fees, reg fees, look at you funny fees, I'm a bitch fees, etc.

Edit, someone already mentioned the extra fees. sorry...

Doesn't seem like much of a fire, air filter box, so maybe a fuel leak at the rear of engine, but just guessing from the small picts. Makes me curious about what it paid off to the owner and what it sells for.

So says Hagerty: https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuati...82-Porsche-928

Guessing they just grabbed that from this link. Sounds good to me. However, a branded title will kill the value for many.
