Default 8th Annual Houston Holiday Dinner

This year's dinner will be at Grotto's in the Woodlands as usual on Sun, Jan 7. We'll start gathering in the parking lot behind Grotto's around 4:30, then move into the bar around 5:30 with dinner at 6:30. It's always a great time so please join us if you can. PM me your RSVP if you plan to attend and have not already told me via the Houston Google Group email list. We have around 30 RSVP'd so far.

Me - over 30 on the RSVP list - a lot are not on Rennlist that often. We have our own Houston group list.

Temps are warming up so it should be a good turnout.

Roger, I'm emailing a last minute parts order for you to bring down.

I'm going to try to blow the dust of the red 89 and see if can make the event, Otherwise I'll be taking the easy round and bringing the old reliable 86.5.

Thanks for organizing this again, Don. Only issue raised at our table was the service was really slow, but that just gave us more time to talk!

We had a great time at the dinner as usual. I didn't notice any slowness in the service at our table, but I was wanting the dinner to be spread out over a couple of hours anyway, European style! I thought the food was outstanding once again. The mandatory 20% gratuity is always a bit hard to swallow but hey, it's only once a year. We didn't have a huge number of 928s in the parking lot, maybe 6-7, but there were some good excuses like owning an AMG, or having your 928 stuck in another country. We also had a new out of town-er, Tom From Austin... hope to see you again next year Tom.

Here's a few shots of the crowd.
