my gremlin back and fixed after Mo checked it out....
Hey just wanted to let every know of a wierd gremlin....mentioned it on another post way back......cruising 80 mph or other speeds all the way down to idle and engine dies after tach jumps to 7 k , back to 0 and up to 7 k with out actual rpm changing then then engine dies......
the all great Mo found a short in the wire leading back from cps ......found after engine died and wouldnt start in his shop after doing fly wheel stuff.....ugh this was a frustrating 3 months....
any way hope this will help some one...in the future

I should check with GB about the wiring harness, I wonder if the wiring is done with the stuff made with CAlifornia style soybean based insulation.....that would be really bad I think...anybody else had issues with the regulated soy bean based insulation on wiring....

Yup. Sounds like, maybe, you could use a new injection (LH) harness.
I’m not sure Greg is remanufacturing those yet. He is doing the front main harness. Not the same.
How repeatable is this? (I haven’t looked at your other thread.)
Have you swapped both EZK and LH?

Andy, that motor has a custom injector harness that connects to the Link G4 brain, built by Neil Harvey. It ain't exactly stock. Sounds like a CPS-related issue, glad you got it worked out.

Rob,
yeah I know neil and the harness he made, still a work of art with labels on everything, there fore my question about california spec wiring......
and mo found a shielded ground wired into the cam sensor that was intermittantly killing the brain....all good now and have put 500 miles on it and no car dyeing on the side of the road, I am having more smiles per miles now...!!!!

Since it never rains here, he probably used the low VOC water soluble. PRK-friendly stuff.
