Default Porsche color L700 YZ - which Burgundy?

Car: 1987 928 S4 Black/Burgundy color code is L700 YZ
My research indicate there are at lease two Burgundy colors were made available for 928 S4. Do you know what color is YZ?
The seat on the right is my car, on the left is another burgundy seat I bought thinking all burgundy colors are the same.
Thanks

L700 is the black (schwarz) paint colour and I'm not sure what the YZ after that refers to. I can't find any interior material code that has YZ in it.
For 1987 the code for burgundy carpet was 80E and for burgundy leather was LG7. I can't see any other burgundy type colour for that year, either in PET or any of the other data I have. Samual or Errka may be able to shed more light on the subject if they see this.

Edit: nice find Stan!

Edit #2: From the interior colour code thread Stan has bumped, YZ is the code for the full interior package, which incorporates all materials, and I'm not aware of anyone here having a list of those codes ... I don't.

YZ is the "regular" Burgundy interior, seats in leather and the rest in leatherette.

My white 1987 928 S4 is L908 (GP White) with YZ interior.

Well, I think it looks good in a black car also. But it needs to be clean to really be nice on the eyes.

Here is dark blue 928 S4 with the same interior:

Samuel ... do you have any data on those overall package codes for interiors? My GTS cedar green full leather, and cedar green carpet is designated PU, with 2JP carpet and YDS 000 000 00 KO3 leather.
I was thinking of starting a thread to build up some valid data on those overall codes (if nothing exists), which defy logic in their choice of letters, it seems. How they arrived at YZ for yours, and PU for mine, is a mystery to me.

Sadly, I don't have an exhaustive view of the interior codes.
I only observe combinations, and classify them by year. The number of combinations each year is incredible!

Interior codes are poorly documented. I think judging from the pic YZ is probably burgundy/burgundy. There is also a burgundy/magenta (carpet - much lighter than the burgundy). Here it is in on one looked at (WP0JB0926KS860110) - did not see the option sticker on this one though:

^^^ Burgundy carpet for 82 - 88 cars was 80E (post #4). There was another shade of burgundy carpet for 89 - 90 cars (8MD), which is what the one you show may be. Magenta carpet (8WZ) was 91 -94.

I would be interested in that thread suggested by Dave in post 9 if it happened. Maybe if everyone (who has them) posts the color codes and also their window sticker we can cross-reference.

Stan's reference would have been perfect if it went beyond the mid-80s. Looks like it has the exterior paint codes for all years at least and thus very useful.

one in the right is the seat of 87 with interior option YZ. I bought the other one which is also burgundy but as you can see my one (YZ) is a darker color. is "YZ" some sort of a brown.

Where is 80E in my option sticker, I can not locate it.
