Question 928 Fuel injector kit...to do or not to do

Hi all,

I was recently watching a video out of Australia and they mentioned a fuel injector kit for the 928 which they salivated over for about 10 minutes so wondering if people here have actually tried it out on their 928's? Id have to order them n from the U.S so want to make sure its worthwhile..

Anyone?

I use them in both of my S cars.
Together with new fuel dampers and regulator.
Important is the use of original Bosch ones.

Refreshing 40 year old injectors is a good idea. I wouldn't cut the harness and splice in those connectors though unless you're having an issue with connectors. Even then, it's better to get empty connectors and re-pin your harness.

Isn't there anyone in Australia that services injectors? The kit you posted a photo of consists of used injectors that have been cleaned and flow matched. You can do the same to your injectors if there's someone down under who does such work (I'm sure there must be). Then if you find one or more of them isn't salvageable, pursue replacing them.

928's R Us sells a good replacement injector that's superior to the ones you posted a photo of:

I don't think 928MS is really around any more. But I'm sure Roger can help you out.

Bavarian and Roger sell the same injectors! Roger has on the US side of the pond a way better price.

I'm not sure this really is the case?
The photos on 928srus show yellow connectors, bavarianwerke now has 2 different sets for the S2: orange and white connectors, different flow characteristics, but both described as 'perfect for the S2'.
I think the ones you bought have dark grey connectors and may even be another kind?

Roger told me so a few month ago in a thread here. He buy the injectors as bulk ware in large quantities.

Did you order the FPR and Dampers from Adapt?
If so what do you think of them? I noticed they don't have a vacuum connection for reference.
Was that you they were responding to on the Damper page?
Interested.

Yes, it was me.
The big plus for the Adapt regulators is the Bosch core so you can overhaul them and the adjustment screws.
By the way, Greg use also the Bosch cores.

The original poster has a CIS car so not applicable.
