Greg is totally OCD. The smallest issues he is all over it. I'm sure he drives everyone nuts. Some say he is expensive but when you look at the work he does and when it fixed it's fixed! To me that's a deal. You see these guys with cars that the local European shop fixed, you know the shops, old Saabs and few VW's buses in front along with Subie on the lift. They are the expensive shops. I have a friend that repairs Italian cars, and he once told me that he never fully fixed a car because he always wanted the car to come back so he could charge them again. That's expensive! Greg knows these cars so well that he can go right to the problem, use the best parts and it's done. My car has been a bit of a challenge for it was more that just building a motor and there are not many S3 motors with S4 bits. He will not let this car out of his shop until he is 100% satisfied with it. He drives it home every night and makes list. He does this with all customer cars that have had major work done....., that's a good deal!

Well, 16 months and 1 week later, I was finally satisfied with the red car and it finally left here for its trip home.

It has been an absolutely agonizing project. However, when it was all said and done, it became my favorite 928 that I've built.

It's an absolutely gorgeous piece of automotive art.

Thank you, Van, for allowing me to do this car! (And thank you for your patience!)
