Unusual Silver Foil Stamp on exclusive A/T shifter
Needed to remove the A/T shifter on my nicely option 90 S4 with a bunch of X options. Even the A/T accordian is leather covered.

This is the stamp that was given to Exclusive leather parts by Porsche. I don't know what year they stopped, haven't seen it since the mid 1990's. It's easily 'cleaned off', take special care to preserve it.

The plastic there breaks off VERY easily when you remove the shifter. The plastic there is thin and old and if you tighten the screws a little too much it can create cracks which ends up making it fall apart like you see above. Same thing happened to me last year with the car I had just bought. I ended up filling mine with JB Weld though and now it's working perfectly!
