I've searched a bit and have found discussions of jammed motors, but the problems I'm having are different. I'm guessing there are functions within the 12-seats that function much like the sunroof cable (or screw drive garage door opener). I haven't done a detailed observation of which button position is causing which odd noise, but both front seats have at least one position that does it. It sounds gravely and I can feel it in the seat back or side bolsters. Sitting in the seat I can feel that nothing is adjusting while this is happening.

Is there a DIY fix for this? Or, has something broken inside and the parts are unobtanium?
