Hello I just wanted to give a shout out to the fellow 928 owner that stopped and checked on my situation in San Clemente this morning. I'm not sure if he is on the site but hey it says allot about the 928 owners. I had to go from Ventura to San Diego this morning to take care of a charging issue on a boat that I'm contracted to keep in running condition. I have had my 1981 Euro for a year now and decided to take it on the longest drive today. The drive down was great averaging eighty miles per hour.The drive back not so much ten miles per hour from San Diego to San Clemente torture. The car developed a little bit of a misfire during the stop and go traffic so I decided to get off the freeway and get lunch. When I finished I went out and popped the hood to look for anything unusual before heading out. I was just about to leave When This guy pulled up and said I saw you open the hood is every thing ok. That was really cool of him he said he had a 1979 and a 1984 both Euros. He had the same idea that I had about injectors. The drive home from there was better and I was able to drive it harder and the misfire went away. I started chasing a blond in a Panamera and discovered that my car really wakes up at about eighty five miles per hour but did not go much more than ninety. So Shout out to the guy who stopped and checked on me that was really nice of you. I don't see many 928s on the road but got quite a few thumbs up along the way. I will do the same if I ever see anyone along the road Happy Thanksgiving To all.
