Accelerator cable routing
Greetings one and all!
Can someone advise the correct path the accelerator cable should take from the firewall to the engine? The PO had it over the top of the air box, straining the cable and ultimately caused it to fail (exciting - another story). Looking at images online clearly this ain’t right! Thanks :-)

Being the typical ignorant American, is yours right hand drive (RHD) or Left hand drive (LHD)?

fossberry,
assuming RHD then based on mine it runs from the firewall up to the drivers side of the air box and along the front of the airbox (beside the intake) and around to the throttle cable assembly (can't remember the name).
I have mine clipped into the intake straps to stop the cable pushing into the bonnet liner. YMMV
