Factory cat fits as it should, straight down the centre.

So the plan now is to make a spacer, simply because we really don't want to screw up the ceramic coating and shipping it back to the states will be a PIA. Garrity is sending me a extra flange which I will then modify with a 1.5 mm pitch on one face. If my calculations are correct it should seal just fine and line right up.

I will update this thread in a week or so once I receive the flange.

Take that dirty factory cat off! Who is the slob you let your borrow a dirty cat? Philistine! That shark looks far too clean to use that dirty cat. Yikes, it looks worse installed than when I pulled it out of my parts pile.

Don't worry it came off as fast as it went on.

I will not answer that question as it may be incriminating to the offending party... LOL No this is off of my Grey one which was replaced with a 2 1/2" Stainless Steel Dual exhaust.

Update:

It turns out that the passenger side pipe/flange is 10mm short, whether that's a manufacturing error or a fault of the jig I do not know. I have determined this by taking measurements against a stock cat and an H-pipe which both fit perfectly.

I did receive a flange to make a spacer from, but after careful review I noticed that the flange on the x-pipe does not crush the inner crush ring in the stock gaskets due to the increased diameter of the pipe. So I abandoned that idea since without the crush ring I doubt I could have gotten a seal with a tapered spacer.

As well I have never been to pleased with the x-pipe to resonator connections, it just seems so mickey mouse. If someone were to bring a x-pipe to market with pipe the same diameter as stock I would be all over it. For now we are going with an H-pipe on this car and the x-pipe is being returned. We will take the hit on the coating and move on.
