Only took 36 years. New 928s Owner Here.
Hi guys.
So it only took 36-years, but I finally bought a 928s. Truth be told, aside from a 997.2 GT3 RS it’s the only Porsche I’ve ever wanted, and more specifically an 85/86 car. I purchased it off a Rennlist member and truth be told I’m absolutely thrilled with the car thus far even though I’ve only put a total of 38 miles on it. It’s a 1986 928s manual in Prussian Blue with blue leather interior and 78,+++ miles on the odometer and it's in tremendous shape. The brakes have already been upgraded to S4 specs and even though the car is already in fantastic condition my plan is to make it even better by way of a full front to back service (belt, pump, timing gears, clutch, all fluids, tires, original stereo refurbishment, etc… ), then have a full paint correction done. The interior needs nothing.
Once that’s done it will be driven. A lot (thank you NorCal weather).
With that being said, I’d like to thank everyone in advance for the questions that I know I’ll be asking in the future and say thanks to the administrators by providing and maintaining a site like Rennlist.
This should be fun. Oh… and if any of you have questions about muscle cars, I’m extremely well versed, so please ask away.
Cheers - Mike

Outstanding example. Nice mirrors...and luggage cover!
Take care with those plastic intake tubes, one a growing number of NLA parts.
Now search for Murf Supershark, given muscle car leanings.

Welcome Mike. The car looks great and that interior condition is among the best I've seen! Like I mentioned, to keep those manholes nice and original only ever wash with soap and water and polish with Vasoline.

Congratulations, very nice looking car. You'll have to meet up with some of the rest of us in the Bay Area. We have a great support group and a few fun events.
