Can I ask a naive, somewhat non-sequitur of a question? How much does the rubber bonded front lower control arm contribute to the 'spring rate' in the front? And if it does, how much does that change over the life of the rubber bushing? If one ran the powerflex bushings (that appear to allow the LCA to rotate freely (grease between the poly and the arm bracket at the front) and change nothing else, does the car get 'softer' in front?
With nothing connected to the LCA, how much force is needed to move the end of the arm a couple inches from level each way? Multiply that by the lever ratio to find what spring rate it would be at the perch.

As and when the modified bushes are fitted I suspect we will find the spring rate is similar to stock. If it wasn't then surely Powerflex would not know what they were doing and their reputation suggests that is anything but the case. As they say - "the proof of the pudding is in the eating"!

We ended up on the red car with Eibachs on the front with Koni's and Hypercoils on the rear and Koni's. I'm not finding it uncomfortable nor nervous. However the lower bushings on both corners are new.
