Default Condenser Issue- self inflicted

So, while reinstalling the auxiliary fan, I managed to poke a hole dead square in the middle of a brand new condenser. Ouch.

I’m assuming it’s not a good idea to try and repair?

Take it too a low-rent looking radiator shop. Ask for the oldest guy in there. Beg him to fix it for you. He will know how.

in 2015 i poked a 1/4" hole in one of the coil tubes of my evaporator with a too-long screw, got a rad shop to braze it and leak-test for $20 in about an hour turnaround.

you should be fine.
