For Sale: M28-21 310 HP 16v Motor
I just salvaged a M28/21 16v motor in Philadelphia this last weekend.
This is the 310HP, 10.4:1 CR motor with the twin distributors as shown below.
I'm told this motor last ran 4 years ago and ran well. The car was parked in Pittsburgh and vandalized. Then, after insurance delays, more vandalism, more delays, etc - the car just sat.
The engine does turn over by hand and has no rough spots. The motor is complete. I do recommend it be gone through before it is put in service, but that's up to whoever buys it.
I can ship it motor freight or you can pick it up here.
I am asking $3800.

This is the reason why the 10.4:1 will probably have even more HP. It was certified using the "old" pistons from the M28/11 or M28/12 with 10:1 and came to 310ps. Knowing how the factory worked in those days, they probably still had a lot in stock. The extra 0.4 should make same HP.
