Default Probably a stupid question

Are the LED lights in the door lock pins supposed to flash, even when the doors are unlocked? Mine flash all the time, and the CLS light is always lit up when the car ignition is on.

But the doors won't lock or unlock, by pushing the button, but the passenger door will unlock when using the key to unlock the drivers door.

The LED's in the door lock pins should not flash when the doors are unlocked. With the key in the RUN position the CLS button should not be lit unless the park/headlamps are on and then only on "low" power. When the park/headlights are on and the doors are locked the CLS button should be lit at full power. Sounds like the power lock motors are mis-adjusted. They contain switch contacts that tell the CLS system the position of the locks (locked or unlocked.)

Remember, there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers...

They shouldn't flash.
