Big Brake conversion on 86 bias valve ?
Just did the big brake conversion on my 86 going over the manual the following components was changed on the 86.5 and later.
For those that have done it have you changed the pressure valve and master cylinder it also mentions the brake booster. Is this something that needs to be addressed?

Just get a new master cylinder for your car. If it is original, it will fail in the future and the seals probably leak internally.
They all use pretty much the same piston size so changing to a later year would be pointless and make running new hard lines a requirement.
The booster is fine to reuse if it is not leaking. Also, stick with the 33 bar bias valve. It sends more fluid to the rears and makes the braking more even.
I converted my 81 to 993 calipers. I just used a new master and booster (both failed) that were correct for my model year. It feels nearly the same as my S4, only real difference is the pads.

Sometimes over thinking things is not good, I'll just keep it as is and do a little testing first. I did loose my Abs and now need to figure how to turn off the warning lamp before it lights without pressing the warning button

You could take the toner rings for the ABS to a machine shop and have them make some hybrid rings that will work with your current ABS.
That's what I did. The computer won't notice the difference as long as there are the same number of teeth as the old ring.
Worked for me.......Wasn't cheap though.
