not in the back of this 928. Car is too perfect to risk damage. Plus I want a new bike

Just been watching the latest on the BBC and CNN. Fingers crossed your assets will survive this maelstrom.

Just make sure you and yours are safe and secure- worldly assets can always be replaced.

Best wishes

Stay safe Mark and everybody else sitting in the fires' paths all over the state. K spoke to a client last night who's now in the middle of the evacuation area in Orange. He has a "barn" full of interesting cars and no time to move them to safety. His "barn" is modern construction, stucco'd and finished to match the hacienda. Interesting that the recent-construction "barn" has full inside sprinklers while the house doesn't. Fingers crossed and prayers going out for all of you at risk down there.

Default Good news

Things are looking up here. Winds died down and the threat of property damage has been greatly reduced

That's great news Mark!
Crazy how fast some of those fires spread.

Whew! Big sigh of relief .... I know how this feels as we live in the Oakland Hills and this is the month we live in fear of fire. We didn't loose our home in the last big fire but it was close and we did have to evacuate. Today the sky is covered in ash from the Wine Country fire.

Last thing we need is for lightning to strike you twice!

No forest fires where I am- there is no forest! Well actually there was a little one in the desert somewhere.

The NorCal fires are sending smoke all the way up here, per the local news last night. They showed some satellite images of the smoke trails that's pretty amazing. Santa Ana and diablo winds at near-hurricane force are to blame.

Might be easier to 'splain climate change to the moron if he worked a fire line for a couple days.
