It looks like a 12 point possibly 9mm, a 3/8" allen socket fits but don't want to strip the bolt head if that's not it

I think it's a 10mm triple-square. Get a set.

Don't use the Allen bit.

12mm triple-square/XZN/cheesehead. What Glen said, buy a set of them to include the 8mm which you'll need for cam cap bolts, door stay bolts, etc.

NOTE if possible when removing the flywheel bolts put a wedge behind the tool so it wont move out of the bolt head this will prevent stripping the the bolt heads

Triple square bits are also used extensively for BMW cars, so if you happen to have BMWs, it all works out.
