My car is getting paint job and i need to replace this part.
But i am unable to find the part number.

It's called out strangely in PET- Supposedly 928 559 289 04 and 928 559 289 04 for model year '87, superceded by 928 559 289 05 and 928 559 289 05 thereafter. Not sure what if any difference there is, as the latter are twice as expensive as the former.

They are indeed black. Roger, do you know whether the new ones have adhesive on their backs? Old ones sort of peel off but I've never seen a new one.
