Default front fender installation sealer / strips

Swapping out a fender and removal went easy.

Whats the cleanest caul/ sealer material to use on installation of the new fender. The black 3M strip caulk is so damn messy.

The 3M strip-caulk is the right stuff. Take a strip of it and roll it between your hands make it longer and thinner. At somewhere around 4mm or 3/16" diameter, it's ready to use in that joint. One strip from the package will do pretty much the whole front of the car this way, and there's minimal squeeze-out. If you can trim the squeeze-out right away (small artist's spatula) there will be minimum mess to deal with as you move on to next steps.

I have found that if you dip your fingers in soapy water the strip caulk will not stick to you.
