Been delaying my birthday celebration for over one month due to Harvey. Finally got around to it this past week.
Here is what my wife and kids gave me:



should I open and assemble or leave it? Tough choices.
(For anyone looking, Amazon has it.)

If you want it for it's collectible value, leave it unassembled in the box.

But I kinda doubt that's why your family got it for you.

If you want it to have meaning and value for you, put it together.

Paint it to match yours. Interior and exterior.
That's what I did (I got the 1/20 scale Tamiya kit).
