You had issues the day you first purchased a 928 as we all do!

No wonder you folks over there have clogged arteries looking at that plate. The alternative is to live longer in misery eating health food tasteless crap that my nearest and dearest is into! She thinks I have issues with my 928.

Bottom line if it looks good, feels good and/or tastes good it is probably bad for you or immoral!

Enjoy

@ Rob, I've never liked red but now I do! Lets make this baby shine like a crazy diamond.
@Fred yes, we all seem to have issues. Which is why I'm single and have no kids. My kids are my 87 and 89.
And the totally weird thing is that 5 years ago I got my first 928, and just this one I got I got exactly 5 years later. both on the same date, 9/28. I didn't plan them on those days either. Now tell me if that's not weird???

I agree Fred, I don't eat red meat much but for those who live it daily that's pretty amazing. I rarely eat a large meal and that one I had was the first of the day for me and it was 2:30.

Great pick up! The intake looks great for 80k miles. Love it!

I have an 89, and it was neglected. Put at least the purchase price into it since I bought it, and more. Mine needs a top end refresh, though I've replaced most of the sensors, already. This 89 is a completely different car than the 87 I started with. Shame the 87 was totaled.

The final drive ratio is different, so the 89 pulls out stronger from a stop. I like the analog, and digital dash. Plus I've installed a supercharger. It is wicked fast. I had to replace the transmission, and the 89 is year specific. I've learned to use the search function on this forum, because of this 89.

You're engine bay looks very nice. The finish is flaking off of my intake, and valve covers. I'm certain, you scored a very nice car, just needs a little TLC, and you're set.

Proper color. At first glance, it appears it's had some paint work done a while back. some of the tint is not quite matching. Nothing a full strip to bare metal, and repaint won't fix.

Congrats, and we all have the same disease. Don't worry, it's not fatal.

Dude was from Australia, so 106 kilos = 233 lbs.

Yes at 177 MPH, someone put something on engine bay and it sucks. I can't tough any part in there without washing hands, or using gloves. I used Simple Green last night to see if some of it would wash off and it did. But I need to go in again with a plastic brush and take off the remaining.

There are a few spots on car that have been touched up and they did a horrible job at that too. The PO was an attorney and was owed labor from two of his clients. One was a mechanic and the other guy was a body shop owner. He claims they were his go to guys but damn, they don't do a good job if you ask me.

Yes thank you, engine bay was the big seller and then the performance once headed home was eye opening! Like wow!

Richard, yes I didn't notice but he's in kilos you're right!

Wow, that stuff looks like a 12YO with crayons did the work. Your paint job is a do-over. Sorry
