Thanks for the share Nate; too bad the video is so crappy - why did the guy drop it at the best part?

Haha I know. He zoomed in as it was getting close and looks like it zoomed faster than he wanted, that's why he cursed. After that he was so flustered that when the car when by so fast he probably fell off his stool. lol. Sounded great though.

George's video will be a -lot- better.
To the credit of course workers, remember that shooting video is nowhere near the top of the qualifications and duties lists. We all carry these good and getting better little video recorders embedded in our pocket phones. They do a pretty good job but are tough to use well with moving targets. Electronic video stabilization helps some with the natural shakes in stationary targets but gets confused when you pan with the moving target. Great video takes a much more stable platform than you get foot-shuffling as you try and track a target that's passing at 200+ MPH. Conclusion: celebrate the stuff we see for how good it is, not how much better it might have been had their been a professional crew with better equipment.
Did anyone watch the F1 race a few weeks ago when the camera guys let the drivers shoot some live stuff during the rain delays? Shaky, tilted, thank the Sony gods for auto-focus, etc. Makes you appreciate the work of the folks who manage to keep the shots great as they walk/run through the pits and grid, dodging peds, cars and their crews, other camera carriers, roaming celebs, and of course the cars. The work is pretty amazing.
