Any ideas?
Thanks!

Mine started out with a click and intermittently progressed to a pop when my clutch pedal would get stuck trying to push it down. I'm just finishing the job today. I believe the problem was a worn guide tube.

Burning Brakes
Years ago, the clutch pedal in my '82 started to feel kind of "wonky." I was in the middle of pre-running the tour I was leading for the inaugural PCA Escape when the clutch pedal broke off leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere.
My '82 had a clutch pedal that was made out of sheet aluminum that was rolled and seam welded. Later pedals are solid cast alloy.
If you have the early (hollow) pedal, replace it before it breaks off....

Both versions are aluminum (or alloy). The one that broke off was kinda like a seam welded hollow aluminum tube - to save weight, I suppose....
The solid cast version looks more like the brake pedal (but a bit narrower). More like a beam than a tube - if that makes any sense.
