The thread in OT has a lot of the locals chiming in and what they are doing with the cars, homes etc.

The one I've not heard about is Herman, who just happens to live on his boat, at the marina that is getting hit dead on.

I heard from T earlier this morning, he and Tambra are in Boston, and he says he put Peachy high up on the lift in his building.

Hope we get word from Herman and Barbara soon.

Thx Kev. Good thing Herm&Barb let us know of upcoming storm before we left for Boston 3 days ago. 991 is 9' up on lift at shop, Just Peachy is in Fl at Carls (FLYVMO) being wired, and we are now in a train headed to CT for the weekend. Plan to drive Mokka over the next so many days(?) Was scheduled to fly back to TX on Mon but that not certain now. FYI...Keegan...RL handle "Fox_" started a thread over on the Off Topic regarding this storm. Breaking News... Keegan is up the line a bit in Laredo. He took the 928 and left his Land Rover behind...way to prioritize Keegan ! T

Did Herman an Barbra get further inland leaving the boat? I can't imagine they could move that thing anywhere near safety with out chugging to Florida.

Glad to hear the rockport crew is safe and dry.

Here in San Antonio the beer is cold, and the snacks are piled high so we are ready for an evening of watching the weather channel and hanging out with neighbors.

Heard from Herman... the boat is still in the water, but their slip is floating with concrete pilings, so should all rise with the tide and theoretically protect the boat, but never know with hurricanes.

Tony,
Glad you and Herman are ok!
Big mine hasn't checked his place yet, not sure how it is...he's staying in San Antonio.
Only light rain here in DFW.

Saw a picture on the news of a white 928 covered in debris.

^^ What a shame I wonder who owns it? Glad to hear Tony, Tambra, Herman & Barbra were elsewhere.
