Modified the mounts for the front grill and got everything to fit. Painted bottom portion of inter cooler black to blend in..........just noticed the paint drips, will be fixed.

Built rear tow hooks. I used both the shock bolt and sway bar link bolt as mounts. You could lift the car from these mounts.....a bit over kill.

I like the Mad Max action you got going underneath the splitter.
Keep up the work.

Thanks Dinsdale.....not exactly the look I wanted, but will have to do, unless I want a complete redesign of the engine install. If I had to do again, I would buy the LSA engine with charger built in.
The little bit I drove the car, I did go up and down a few driveways and had no scraps, where in the past some Porsche's and Ferrari's have touched, so hopefully things work out and you wont notice the skid plate unless your on your belly looking for it.

Painted and installed spoiler. Used some bumper rubber trim between spoiler, fender & bumper.......looks factory made.

Front plastic wheel well covers were cracked in several areas, so I made aluminum replacements. Didn’t realize there isn’t a rear passenger cover for the gas tank, so I made one as well.

Talking

HOe-lleeee crap.
Can someone please provide the post numbers for:

1) the backstory on what prompted this extraordinary project, and
2) the backstory on O/Ps username

Being a candidate OB myself (do we have that defined for owners yet?....)...(edit: disregard)

Edit: Add.....I did a quick scroll of photos and not much readin'....was looking for something on reinforcing the sway bar mounting points given heim joints and all. Did you stick with factory arrangement?

oh, and what's the deal on the Euro in the background?

Finished a few other builds and was Bored

If you drink Tequila, you will figure it out.

bottom chassis stiffener bolts into one of the lower trailing arm mounts on each side with longer bolt. Nothing was modified.

oh, and what's the deal on the Euro in the background
Long story, but was purchased a few years ago and have a love hate relationship with it.

You should fab up more sets of these and sell them as a complete replacement set... they look so nice.
