where did you see pics of it? Especially with out the badge? Did you see it on eBay?

I didn't see any pics of it without the badge; however, the 1st post in this thread shows it still attached to the dash (assuming you bought it from DeathrayLiotta). The number of the car is engraved on the badge making it one of a kind.
When cars move along through auction houses or dealerships, pieces often end up missing. That doesn't appear to be the case with yours as you know where it's at.

Car had it when DeathrayLiotta sold it to the seller who sold it to Amk3rd. I am glad to hear that the seller "may" have it somewhere. Make sure you get it, bc even though we all know it's a Weissach based on interior treatment and VIN, it's pretty nice to have the badge with #176 on it. IIRC, the car also had 8" H4 when DeathrayLiotta had it too, but they were 8" H5 in the latest eBay offering. Too bad the certificate almost always is loss through the 36 years, along with the luggage.

I've got a lot to learn. How can you tell from the ebay pics the lights were changed? In the posting the seller states they are H4 lights. I think I have a little understanding of the difference between the h4 and H5 from an earlier post here from 2005. Im ready to learn all I can about these cars. I appreciate y'all getting me all this new info.
